Steve Watson earned a Masters of Music in Jazz Guitar Performance from the University of Miami. He spent ten years in Los Angeles as a studio guitarist playing for TV series such as "Hill Street Blues," "Magnum P.I.," "Quantum Leap," and "Hunter," and playing for artists Bruce Hornsby, BB King, and Dolly Parton. He was Adjunct Professor of Studio-Jazz Guitar at the University of Southern California. Mr. Watson is currently President of Watson Wood Music, Inc., and the Director of Jazz Guitar at the Fine Arts Center. He performs in the Southeast with his own jazz group.
