Studio Policy Regarding Students
We are very happy to have you as a student and we are happy to have available the best
instructors to assist you in reaching your musical goals.
To avoid conflicts and misunderstandings with the lesson cancellation procedure, it is necessary
to make the following adjustments in our studio policy.
Starting June 1, 2006, the following policies are in effect:
- Whether attended or not, all lesson appointments must be paid for each month.
- All lesson fees are due and payable by the first lesson in each month, or an agreed upon payment time with the instructor.
- There is no charge for lessons missed because of summer family vacations as long as prior arrangements are made. However, if you cancel your lessons for the entire summer, we cannot guarantee you a space in the fall schedule.
- Cancellations for sporting events, school trips, business conflicts, doctor's appointments, and forgetfulness will not be accepted, and payment will be required.
- Watson Wood Music does not adhere to, or follow, any of the local school calendars or schedules.
- In the case of illness, make-up lessons will be made at the discretion of the instructor.
- If your instructor has a conflict with your lesson time, you will be credited for the lessons missed. The instructor, at his discretion, will credit the lesson to the following month or find an agreeable time in the current month to make up the missed lessons.
It is important to be consistent, in both attending lessons and practicing to progress as a musician. The degree of dedication determines your level of achievement.
